I had worked with Orion before the trust’s recent rebrand. On the strength of that relationship, I was brought back in to lead the rollout of the new identity across the organisation.
Orion needed to roll out a new visual identity (created by another studio) across multiple academies, each with its own history, community and character, without imposing a single corporate look that would erase what makes each school distinctive. The system had to celebrate difference while signalling shared values.

Having worked with Orion before the rebrand, the trust brought me back in to lead implementation. The brief covered rolling out the new brand across academies and applying it to the existing trust website, alongside recruitment packs, the annual impact report, and a range of other print documents the trust uses with parents, staff, partners and prospective recruits.
Every deliverable had to be templated for the trust team to apply confidently across schools, without needing a designer for every routine document.
Alongside the brand rollout, I designed and developed the Teaching and Learning Playbook, devising the structure, format and layout from the ground up to fit both the content needs of the trust and the new brand identity. Working from an initial example, the final playbook became a practical, branded resource for teachers across all partner schools.

The relationship is ongoing. I continue to deliver the annual impact report each year, and any other documents the trust needs through the year, so the brand stays consistent across every new piece without slowing the central team down.
